David Gilmour Says There is "No Room" For Any Further Pink Floyd

f it hasn't been made perfectly clear by now, David Gilmour wants you to know that The Endless River is that last you will hear of Pink Floyd.

The Endless River, which is out November 10, is really a continuation of Pink Floyd's last album, 1994's The Division Bell. The original tracks were laid down during those sessions and the members simply finished them off for the upcoming release.

Since that time, original member Richard Wright passed away which, Gilmour tells, makes a tour to support River "impossible."

Gilmour also makes it clear that this album is the last that you will hear of the group, telling the magazine "Anything we had of value is on this album. Trying to do it again would mean using second-best material, and that's not good enough for me."

He added "I'm really enjoying my life and my music. There's no room for Pink Floyd. The thought of doing any more causes me to break out in a cold sweat."
