Swift will appear in Radio 1's Big Weekend, which takes place in the city on 23 and 24 May. Swift talked about her scheduled appearance: "Everyone is talking about the festivals in England, is the best you can go. I feel like I'm missing - I am very pleased"
Norwich City Council leader, Brenda Arthur, said: "This is good news for Norwich, give us a chance to show this amazing city at its best." The festival is spent in Earlham Park, and is free, although a ticket. Most of the tickets will go to local residents.
