Rush have announced tour dates for their 40th anniversary tour

Rush is scheduled to hit 34 cities across North America, starting May 8 at Tulsa, Oklahoma, and wrapping up August 1 in Los Angeles. "These not-to-be-missed concerts will highlight four decades of music group," said the group in a press release. "[It] is likely to be their last major tour of this magnitude." Tickets go on sale on 30 January.

In memory of the 40th anniversary of drummer Neil Peart joined the band, though it actually happened in 1974. Last year, however, they just wrapped up a long tour in support of his album Clockwork Angels and decided to celebrate an anniversary in 2015,

Hopefully, this is the last tour for these dinosaurs and their shallow radio-friendly progressive sing-a-longs. Good Riddance

Rush mean what they say and say what they mean. If you want to forget about the world with all its' problems for a night... go and see this band! I for one, do believe them. This tour most likely IS the last of the 'Big Ones.' My first Rush show was when I was ten years old. My father was a jazz musician at the time... he played out a lot and played Jazz, Be-Bop, and Swing. One day, he came home and TOLD me that I was to accompany him '... to a PROPER concert with PROPER musicians!'
